Diabetes-Very Curable, So Why Don't They?

Judy was a 56 year-old diabetic.
She had been on insulin and oral prescription medications for nine years when she agreed to test a new natural solution.   Within six weeks, she stopped not only her insulin but another prescription drug as well.
You read that right: In just six weeks an alternative doctor solved a problem that mainstream medicine could not handle in nine years and for thousands of dollars.
She's eating like a normal person again, sugary sweets and all!

    The fact is that it costs the typical diabetic around $10,000 a year for treatment. Conventional medicine soaked this woman for maybe $90,000 to treat a medical problem that plant remedies cured in no time at all!   A standard diabetes test showed  Judy went from severely diabetic to healthy in the course of the treatment.   In a study involving the same herbal treatment that Judy tried, 60 subjects were found to have;

  •  Blood sugar levels dropped by an average 54.4 points.
  • An average 52% improvement in blood sugar utilization and optimization, meaning that participants' bodies learned to handle sugar more efficiently.
  •  Improved carbohydrate metabolism (meaning that patients metabolic systems handled dietary carbs more effectively) by an average 39%.
  •  An average weight loss of 5.5 pounds

Researchers  recently discovered a startling fact, an Asian wonder plant that naturally lowers blood sugar.
In fact, a clinical test confirmed this plant's extracts are as effective at lowering glucose as drugs like Acarbose.
A researcher took it one step further, combining the Japanese herb with a second natural fiber that actually blocks sugar absorption. The "diabetes duo" controls blood sugar better than any prescription drug he's seen. According to his summary of the study results...

  • During a 6-week study every single person experienced a drop in blood sugar. For some, sugars fell as many as 60 points.
  • An average 52% improvement in blood sugar metabolism
  • But that's not all, these two herbs block fat absorption ...lowering systolic blood pressure and even cholesterol too!

.They found one of these herbs in India, gymnema sylvestre, a traditional Ayurvedic diabetes remedy,  called "the sugar destroyer". Heres why: A protein in the plant makes you lose your craving for sugar and actually prevents you from digesting some of the sugar you DO eat. Plus, gymnema seems to regenerate pancreas cells, allowing your body to produce more insulin.

In an 18-month gymnema study, most test subjects were able to reduce their medication and some were able to get rid of drugs altogether.     Best of all, no one has reported any adverse side effects of gymnema. Not one.

Well, I don't know about you, but doesn't this proof of actual diabetes cures make you wonder what the hell our medical professionals are up to?  You'll notice that I said "CURES" not "treatments" which is all you get from the A.M.A.  Seriously, with all of the fantastic technology that is available for research today, why hasn't  the medical world found cures for some of the many ailments everyone seems to have?

Why haven't they found ONE cure???

And why does every treatment they prescribe have a list of hazardous side effects that include permanent physical damage, brain damage and even death?

Why is one after another of their "miracle treatments"  recalled after killing and maiming countless thousands of people?

Just something to think about, folks.  Have a pleasant visit to the doctor's office next  time you go.  And say "Hi" to the pharmacist, you probably know them all by their first names, I'm sure they know you!

Greetings , welcome to North Idaho Herbal. A blog about local herbs and their uses, entheogens, sources, wildcrafting and ethics.
For everybody else it might be Spring in a few days, you know, the Equinox and all that. Around here, ie. N. Idaho, just short of the Canadian border, it's still pretty much winter. We are getting some reasonably nice days with temps of 40 F. but the nights are still below freezing and there's about 2 feet of snow in the flats. Just last week a small storm blew in 8" of new snow and sub-zero temps for a couple of days.
So, maybe you can understand why I'm not going to deal much with planting, wild-crafting or really anything to do with the out-of-doors for awhile yet.
However, this is the time of year to check the larder, so to speak, or your cache, stash, goody-bag or whatever, to see what's left after a long and tedious winter. It's a good idea to keep track of the herbs and medicinals you've used so that you can be better prepared for the next round of winter's wonderland. Wouldn't want to caught short, now would we?
I don't know about you folks, but being an herbalist, living and working in the great outdoors is my life and being cooped up inside because of inclement weather can be a real drag after a month or two. So I use this time to process my harvested ethnobotanicals and experiment with different flavor and effect combinations of local and store-bought favorites.
In the coming weeks I'll be sharing some of these favorites and tips about use and effects with you. Feel free to comment and/or link, Thanx, Woodco.
